There’s good news and bad news. The good news is that we are all set to knock out some major garden work tomorrow (Friday 08-28). The new cistern is in place, bed wood is cut and partially assembled, the second pitcher pump is on order, 20 yards of soil is looming just inside the gate and the Dingo loader is coming in the morning. We’ve committed to 10-2 but we’ll be out there bright and early. If the gate is open, please come help! The bad news is that Saturday’s work party may be washed out if we get the weather that is forecasted (which is also good news because we neeeeeeeed the rain).
What I am trying to say is that we have tons to do on Friday, just in case we can’t work on Saturday, so if you have any time and you want to help your neighborhood garden grow, we need you on Friday more than ever before. Please bring gloves, wear sunscreen, leave the kids and pets at home (it’s a serious construction day) and be ready to sweat!
